2012 Hydro Majestic Hotel Penang

Surprise, surprise, this hotel, really can commendable, lets mention the rooms first, it was clean and tidy and toilets too, rather standard with no LCD for now. We'll have to wait for the next upgrade, or they might have it in the suites.

The access from the car park is not so good, not so convenient, with narrow hallways to the lobby.

The pool is rather small but for kids, they'll love it. Not much of any shady area and it must be hot during the sun sets. The access to the beach is far across the overhead bridge, not so convenient with toddler, you better drive over there.

Here is the commendable part, the "food". It was truly amazingly delicious and rather affordable. check out the pics below, and you also will enjoy a smooth serenity music from the live band.

2012 new sports shoes before year ends

This is really a blessing in disguise , apparently after getting this shoes my old ones become a crocodile . After using a plot of brand from Nike to Adidas and reebok, I really feel that reebok, will not disappoint you at all, and other brand is really a hype with 2 years life span. So that depends on you if you are a brand slave , you'll have to part with your $$$ every 2 year, it's not for me, what about you?

Orient Rewards

Today we went to celebrate my father in law's birthday at Holiday Inn, Penang, before hand I've made a reservation using my membership that entitle me 50% on total bills. Apparently the so called T&C, say that I need to show my card at the counter, oh my God, i told myself, i couldn't find my card with me. So I ask the cashier to see if I can get them the number later when I come home. She says, "yes you can, you can fax it to us, now you go an enjoy your dinner" Sweet!. Yes indeed she gave me 50% discount on the total bill.

So later i came home at about midnight and need to put my daughter to sleep, that already pass midnight, i tried to faxed over, I got engage tone. :(. I will definitely try tomorrow as I would not want her to be in trouble.

5 Dec 2013- so I have been the member for this for a year now, what is my experience? very bad indeed, to elaborate further, the service is good, but the reason that the give when there is no one pick up the phone is "too many customers". Don't they make a survey of how many customers that they have and how many call center agents they need? Like what the government do to the number of doctors they need from the number of population.

Placing for a hotel reservation is not very good as they need to confirmed that with the hotel within one week, by that time all will be forgotten.

It is very difficult to plan you holidays with the membership per say.

But if you are a good eater, this would be a good choice, easier to make reservation, you can called direct to the restaurant and make the reservation.

 For me, never want to be any member for this sort of things anymore in future.
